God’s Unchanging Word

God’s Unchanging Word

For feelings come and feelings go,
And feelings are deceiving;
My warrant is the Word of God,
Naught else is worth believing.

Though all my heart should feel condemned
For want of some sweet token,
There is one greater than my heart
Whose word cannot be broken.

I’ll trust in God’s unchanging word
Til soul and body sever;
For, though all things shall pass away,
His word shall stand forever.

  1. Hi Barbara,

    I’m running over here real quick to respond to the comment you just left me. My goodness, I’d never have taken the comment about the hair that way. What I wouldn’t give to have Josh’s cute hair. I’m working on it but mine’s a lot shorter. And I LIKE Hobbitts. So please, not to worry.

    I’m biting the bullet and posting a photo. The change isn’t dramatic style wise. I have to let it grow a while, it’s so short, and I want it just a tad longer. But the color is back to my natural color, minus the grey I’ve earned, of course.

    Good grief. Who cares? I don’t even wear makeup. I just suddenly realized being blond was ridiculous and I don’t even know how I ended up blond. I just don’t look at myself in the mirror very often. I mean, I do, but I don’t worry too much about what I see. So the new color is a start. The real test will be when I can be honest enough to stop coloring it altogether. I’m just not there yet. 🙂

    Bless you for being so sweet.
