It’s time for the last edition of Melli’s ABC photo challenge! Most of you know the drill by now, but in case there is anyone new, Melli challenged us to find letters of the alphabet in the things around us. We’re not to make the letter out of anything or take a picture of the letter itself in a sign: we’re supposed to find it “as is” in nature or in an object where you wouldn’t normally look for a letter. We’ve been taking two at a time, and this week we’ve been looking for Y and Z.
I had planned to have this up last night because some of the ABC participants come by pretty early. But I forgot to take a picture of my Z — even though I pass by it every day and have been planning to use it for weeks! So I had to wait til this morning, but here I finally am.
I see a lot of Ys here:
I think I counted over 11 — not including the reflection on the car windshield.

WOW! That is a GREAT Z!!! I never thought of that! Very cool! And yep – lots of Y’s in the trees! As I sit at my computer I can probably see 500 y’s in front of me out my window! Y’s were everywhere!

The Y pic is Spring! You have bright spring green, bright sky blue, a reflection in the windshield, Ys — you covered all my favorite things and then some!
That Z took some imagination, but now that you’ve pointed it out, I can see it.
You counted the “Y”s? I see a gazillion!! That’s a terrific subject for the letter. And I agree the z took a great deal of viewing…you have such a great eye for this.
I never saw that Z before, but now I’ll see it every day in my driveway! And I love that bundle of Ys. Great job.
The temptation to see letters everywhere has infected my daughters now too. Maybe we’ll have to learn the Greek alphabet or something to make it more challenging. 🙂
