I don’t watch many musicals but I should. My kids would love them.

  5. I love musicals, and these are some of my favorite songs.
Congrats on being site of the week!

My Fair Lady and WestSide story are my Favorites.
Do you Love me? was great from Fiddler on the Roof. I liked Sunrise and Sunset too!

  7. A featured TT! How fun! I love musicals and have ever since I was a child. The older musicals are my favorite, but of course A.L. Webber is wonderful. Singing In The Rain is my favorite and the only other to add to your list would be South Pacific.

  8. A good list. I’m not that much into musicals, but I do like some of them. I must be getting old lol. Happy TT.

  9. Oh my goodness! So many of those are my faves as well! Except, I’ve never seen Camelot and am not familiar with most of the music, except for “If Ever I Should Leave You.”

Les Miserables is absolutely incredible. I love so many of the songs. We have the 10th anniversary DVD, and I highly recommend it. Also saw it in Chicago and it was outstanding. I would love to see it again.

  10. Hi there, I saw your blog as the featured blog on the Thursday Thirteen site, so I thought I would take a peak. 🙂 I absolutely adore musicals, and your number one gives me chills every time I hear it. It is an amazing song. I was in that musical as Eponine, and my fellow cast member playing Jean Valjean was absolutely amazing. When he sings he makes you want to run up to him and kiss him it is so lovely. hahaha

As for phantom, Christine Daae is my dream role, and I would say my favorite is Point of No Return. It is so haunting and beautiful. Great Thursday Thirteen. I am going to have to do this one sometime. 😀

  11. LOL Not sure if you saw my post from my weekend away last weekend with the girls but in the video clip, the first song on your list was one of the songs we sang “Bring Him Home”, amongst many others, mostly seventies hits we were singing.

I loved Les Mis – saw it twice.
