Saw both of these at Joyful Days:
You Are Mac and Cheese |
|
And nothing is more nourishing than a big warm plate of carbs.Taking risks takes a toll on you, and you prefer your comfort food to be old fashioned. You’re the type of person who could eat the same meal every night, especially when life is hard. |
The last line definitely isn’t me — eating the same food every night would get old, but I do eat some of the same things often. Everything else pretty much nails it.
You Are Easter |
|
Sensitive and affectionate, you are easily touched. You love nature, animals, and anything cute or cuddly. For you, every day is a new chance – no matter what happened yesterday. What makes you celebrate: Almost anything. You love most holidays and celebrations. At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The peacemaker. You can prevent any squabbles that might break out. On a holiday, you’re the one most likely to: Remember to include everyone |

I was Easter too. I was surprised that I was Chocolate–thought I would’ve been Mac’n’Cheese. But chocolate is okay by me.

Hi Barbara. I dropped by from Melli’s links on her alphabet challenge in hopes of finding yours that you found. I’ll try and get back later today.
If you can find time, drop by my blog…my E and F are posted.
Apparently I’m apple pie. I don’t mind that choice of food, but the description really didn’t seem very accurate. The holiday, however… bang on. Except maybe the last line; I do tend to put a lot of work into them (the cooking part especially) but I also realize there’s no point in all that effort if you don’t take the time to sit down and enjoy it with the people around you, and that seems to be left off the final sentiment.
You are a bit of a homebody who enjoys being in the company of people you love.
It doesn’t take a lot to make you happy. You’re enjoying life as it is.
You have many blessings in your life, and you are grateful for each one.
You believe that life is about what you *do* have. You feel like you have enough of the good stuff.
What makes you celebrate: Family, friends, and the changing of the seasons.
At holiday get togethers, you do best as: The host of the party
On a holiday, you’re the one most likely to: Spend so much energy preparing that it’s a full time job
I enjoyed your post. Just wanted anyone reading this that is struggling to check out this amazing Christian ministry:
http://www.mercyministries.org
Mercy Ministries was founded by Nancy Alcorn in 1983. It is a non-profit residential counseling program that exists to transform the lives of young women between the ages of 13-28 who face life-controlling issues. The program is free of charge, which is pretty amazing and is CHRIST CENTERED! I want to spread the awareness about Mercy because these problems are all too real in today’s society!
Take Care!
I’m POTATO CHIPS:
When you’re stressed out, you seek food that is quick and easy.
Life is pretty overwhelming at times, so you prefer comfort food that you can just grab and eat.
You’re the type of person who takes on too much, and you don’t have a lot of free time.
So even when you have junk food as a meal, you’re just thankful that you had any time to eat at all.
