Here are the answer’s to yesterday’s Literary Meme:

1. The Princess Bride

2. Climbing by Rosalind Goforth

3. In the Arena by Isobel Kuhn

4. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

5. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

1, 4, and 5 were guessed correctly. 2 and 3 were admittedly a little more obscure, but I have mentioned them on my blog before and I thought a certain segment of my readers might know or guess them.

  2. I knew only #1 & #4 — I did Google and find #2, but I didn’t claim it in the comments because I considered that cheating. I didn’t mention #4 because someone else already had it correct. And, like Melli, I’d read Jane Eyre (30 years ago) and didn’t remember the beginning.

  3. I immediately thought Isobel Kuhn for #3, but couldn’t remember which book of hers it would be. . .and this is the week of the school play I am directing, so had no time to go research it. 🙂
