Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture only paints 140 characters.

Susan at Stony River has begun a Microfiction Monday wherein participants write a story in 140 characters based on a particular image that Susan has chosen for the day. Design 215’s Character Counter helps keep track of the number of characters. It’s a fun exercise in concise creativity.
The picture for today and my take on it:
“No need for GPS,” he said.
“No need for Google Maps,” he said.
“It’s not far,” he said.
“You can’t miss it,” he said.
“Bah, humbug!!!”

That GPS gets me lost all the time. I find myself hitting the thing! Not good, but your take on the picture is great!
Which way did they go? Those Shriners are very deceptive fellows. They’re not Shriners? Which way did they come from?

Sounds like a few guys I know….good job!
Wonderful job, Barbara! You are clever! Hope your week is off to a good start!! 🙂
OMG I’ve been there, I’ve said those things, haven’t we all! LOL and it just makes the looks on their faces in this picture even funnier!
Excellent!
If he is looking for Santa, he’d best head North.
Great reflection on the picture.
Oh, I never leave home without my Map, just incase.
And I thought only women complained about the subject of men and directions. 😉
Very well done…and I could even hear him muttering it as the horse rolled his eyes.
Bah humbug indeed! Truly inspired! Love it!
LOL! Did your hubby inspire this? 😉
Fun story. The men deserve a bit of teasing for this.
No, no, no, no. He’s fine with directions. This wasn’t meant to be a gender-specific or gender-jabbing story. Just the frustration of an “simple” directions that turn out not to be so.
This is really, really good, Barbara! I loved it.
