It’s Day 20 of the Giving Thanks Challenge hosted by Leah at South Breeze Farm.
I am thankful for living in the age of technology that I am living in. Sure, there are ethical quandaries, but there are with everything. I love having a variety of quick and inexpensive ways to keep in touch with family (as opposed to being able to call only once a month as I did when first married), being able to choose which movie I want to see and play it at home for only $1, having a variety of music available to listen to in various ways, being able to look up anything on the computer — and so on and so on.
(Hmm, maybe I should have broken those down into separate Giving Thanks posts!)

Me, too!!! It’s amazing how easy it is to stay in touch (if we want to!) no matter where people are. Since I finally got texting, I now hear from my daughter much more. 🙂
Times have sure changed….when my Dad was overseas in WWII, and wrote a letter it would take weeks to reach home and sometimes was censored which meant someone read it and blacked out the parts they didn’t want enemy eyes to see…When my son was in Iraq, we could email each other…This time we’ll be able to have face time where we chat live while looking at each other…and do it on our phones.

I’m really enjoying your Give Thanks Challenge. I usually catch it on Facebook but I wanted to comment here to let you know how much it’s touched me this month.
Technology has certainly make getting connected really, really easy for all of us. This is a wonderful thing to be thankful for.
