This was 13 years ago when Jason was 6 and Jesse was newborn (they are now 19 and 13). I always loved this expression on Jason’s face here, as if he’s thinking, “What do I do now?” There are other pictures of him smiling down at his new baby brother and later pictures of him down on the floor playing with him or talking to him, but at this point it was like he was thinking, “OK, I’ve had enough now.”

Aww, how cute! Its funny to look back at old pictures and wonder what you were thinking haha. Or to look back and wonder where all the time went.
Pictures like these just melt my heart. Time certainly flies.

What a sweet photo. I’ll bet it’s hard to believe they’re 13 and 19 now, isn’t it? The time just goes by too fast.
That is a keeper of a picture. Love it.
They say one picture is worth a thousand words…this picture says it all.
That’s exactly what I was thinking! “Okay, NOW what?????” Oh, my goodness. I can’t even imagine how much my boys will change in time… 😉

Oh what a handsome big brother. Love this, I have several of these with my kids as well.
Do they really grow up that fast? Say it isn’t so.
That is so cute :). Thank you for sharing. I am sure your sons enjoy the picture today as much as you do.

my son wants a baby brother soooooo much. but now as each month goes by, he gets older and still no babies! if i do get pregnant he will be nearing six by the time i had the baby. i worry that they won’t be close that far apart in age. were your boys close growing up?
Such a lovely picture…
