Wordless Wednesday: Doing Homework

Doing Homework

I continually find Jesse in odd positions while he’s doing homework. Looks uncomfortable to me, but I guess it doesn’t bother him! I think of this as his vulture pose. πŸ™‚

  1. Actually, when you’re pregnant, this position is AWESOME! I use it all the time now! It’s hilarious-looking though!

My sister used to read upside-down…legs up on the back of the couch, head hanging off!

  2. Amazing how children can stay in weird positions. That would kill me to get into, and I probably wouldn’t be able to get out of! LOL!

  3. I agree. Whatever works. At least he’s concentrating and hard at it. I find my daughter in all sorts of crazy study positions too…must be too much homework!

  4. He looks very comfortable although I can hardly imagine myself in that position, lol! happy ww , great shot πŸ™‚

  6. True, they are much more flexible at that age.
If I tried that I would be stuck like that for weeks..lol
    Have a great Wednesday

  7. Finally a relevant place to bring up the fact that I’ve been to Kyrgyzstan! πŸ™‚
All the men sit like this. On the street corners they sit like this smoking and talking. Maybe he’s been out at night and you don’t know it? Could be a new trend.
    Thanks!

  8. I agree, Brony — as long as he’s getting it done, what position he chooses is fine with me. πŸ™‚ I just think it’s funny. Once I found him with his homework on the floor and him on his stomach on the couch with his feet up where people’s heads usually are. I guess it adds variety. πŸ™‚

  9. Kids just amaze me. My son has always done poses like this too! Just amazing! You captured a great shot!
My WW is up. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  10. WHOA! Wish I could bend like that. I’m stiff as a board. My neice does some strange study positions too. I wasn’t that creative! I just sat a the kitchen bar or on my bed.

  11. You know, that’s funny. My oldest boy prefers to do his homework STANDING UP! Drives me bonkers, but he seems to think better on his feet, rather than sitting still. Very much like his Daddy, go figure.

I’ve posted my Wordless Wednesday, too. Enjoy! πŸ˜‰

  12. OMGoodness!!! I couldn’t do that for long! My knees would not move properly after a while. It’s too funny tho…….ahhhh, to be young in body again.

Happy Wednesday, and thanks for the visit to my W W too.

  13. As long as he gets it done, id say go for it…sit however you want. Maybe he learns better when he is free to sit however he wants.

  14. I don’t think I was ever THAT flexible. As long as he’s getting his homework done is the only thing matters. One question though~what are all those remotes for?????

  15. I’m gonna agree with everyone else here: as long as its getting done, right? Its amazing how limber the youthful can be.
Happy WW & thanks for stopping by!

  16. LOL – that’s pretty funny. I used to do that but never saw a picture of myself in that position. Of course, not sure I could even do it now even if I wanted to.

  17. Too funny. My little girl can sit in some strange positions for homework too. I am not sure whatever happened to sitting at the table or a desk or on a bed to do homework…but hey as long as it gets done!
