Poor Papa Bear suffered an accident when a bouncy ball being thrown in the living room (ahem!!) landed under him on the floor, and the perpetrator banged into Papa as he retrieved the ball. The perpetrator did confess and was let off with a warning. This poor family has suffered many such incidents and upon close inspection one can see many scars from previous accidents. Even with relocating to a corner of the living room where no one goes (except to retrieve balls) and securing the family to the shelf, this poor family keeps getting knocked off or banged into.
I guess figurines weren’t meant to perch on the edge of the shelf. 🙂
It is cute, but the memories it holds are priceless! Happy Wednesday:)
That’s one heck of a bounce from the bouncy ball to do that! Happy WW!
I love this, Barbara. I didn’t know these little bears had suffered any abuse at all until I read your comment. They’re so cute. But you know, really, every single repaired spot holds a memory and that makes them all the more precious.
The little bear family is adorable! Could you just imagine a little someone going around telling everyone he broke papa’s leg! LOL My WW is up!
I love that little figurine! The little bear children are so cute! Hopefully you’ll be able to fix him with a little super glue and some love. 🙂
Doesn’t super glue fix everything? Happy WW!
Those are so cute! Poor Papa bear needs some tender loving care. 🙂
I’m up too.
Awwww…..they are adorable. Hope they inspire your crew to read.

Very cute.
Mine’s up too.
Poor papa bear! My WW is up stop on by.
Have a great Wednesday!
They “bear” (ha ha) the signs of life. Very cute!
LOL! We think alike, Barbara! My WW is a bear, too.
I LOVE bears!! That family would look great in our den.
Oh, poor Papa Bear! He definitely needs some dolly surgery. We have nutcrackers like that–all banged up and loved all the more for it.
Aw… They are so neat! Thanks for dropping by mine 🙂
ooops… They are a cute family, though. Happy WW, and Happy New Year, too.
Precious Bear Family! They look none the worse for wear and I would have never guessed their past had you not posted their story. Great pic!
We have a stuffed yellow dinosaur that my husband kept during his Navy career. Our son drew on it, with black pen. I was so sure he would want to throw it out but no. It’s sitting on the top shelf of our bookcase, in the living room.
It’s National Oatmeal Month – have you had your oatmeal today?
That is one cute Bear family.. bad bad bouncy ball 😦
Poor papa bear!! Very cute family though! Happy WW!
Reminds me of all those old sitcoms like The Brady Bunch – someone always broke Mom’s favorite what have you while playing ball in the house. Hopefully you can Krazy Glue it or something.
Thanks for sharing & visiting,
Frances
ah – so sorry!
bouncy balls are sooooo dangerous! I make Jackson throw them outside and then inevitably the ball bounces too far and is lost for good. I find there are always tears involved with bouncy balls!
how precious
Those bears are so cute 🙂 – thank you for sharing.
Blessings on your Thursday…
How totally cute! I have a set of pigs that are salt and pepper shakers that have seen many accidents like your figurines! I know how it goes! Great pic for WW!!!
