Wordless Wednesday: Pollinated

This is our backyard patio. covered in yellow pollen, though it is not showing up as thick as it looks in real life. Everything stationary is covered. I am staying indoors as much as possible with my AC filter that catches that stuff. 🙂

  1. Funny. I just posted tonight about the horrible pollen and thought that a picture of our back patio or car would make a great wordless wednesday. Happy WW!

  2. That’s a bad period for alergic people. My mother used to get shots before spring started, otherwise she couldn’t breath.

  3. I had to wash my car’s windshield before I could see to drive the last couple of days. Amazing how much pollen came out just overnight! I didn’t have allergies for the longest time. But after living in SC for 25 years, I suddenly developed them. This isn’t a good time for allergy sufferers for sure!

  4. I don’t notice the pollen much, but around here we have HORSEHAIR! I groom my two horses and hair comes out by the handfuls. Then I spit hair for an hour.

  5. Now you know Spring is really here. 🙂 I love it! The cold weather is finally gone. It was hard getting used to the cold when you come from a place that feels like it’s summer all year long. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. We have the same thing in Las Vegas around this time of year, so I know how thick it can be. I think ours is from Mulberry trees. I did my first wordless wednesday today.

  7. It is “Blossom Season”, as they call it, here in the CA fruit bowl. Fortunately, we don’t get a layer of pollen like that though. Hope your not plagued with sneezes or runny noses!

Thanks for stopping by my WW!

  8. Yep, I have a son with asthma/allergies and this is what we call the dreaded season. But I cannot keep him inside.

    Happy WW

  9. That’s life!..and growth and new blooms, and spring…
Thank you for stopping by, and yes, I think the first wave of swallows is just discussing where they are going to settle before the ladies come!
