This picture of Jason was taken just before he left for the Junior-Senior banquet his senior year of high school, a Really Big Deal here. He had washed his car and gotten it all clean and shiny and gotten himself all spiffed up in his tux, so he was “shining,” too. 🙂

Ahhh! I hope he had a shiny memorable evening! I had fun at mine…many many years ago! lol
what a handsome boy–hope he had a great evening!! Great shot.
what a wonderful picture! love that shining smile, too!
hope he had a swell time! 🙂
happy hunting!
Probably the only time he ever washed it, right?
No, he kept it up pretty well except when he was really busy at school. He loved his car. 🙂
Oh, I remember when I was his age, a clean shiny car was a must for the weekend. Good memories brought to me just by looking at this picture.
Cute..boys and cars 🙂
Thanks for the visit and the comments! This is a great photo! The car shines, that is for sure! 😉
Lovely tree behind him and the SMILE…ahhh! Memories,eh? Gettin’ all ready for big events when we were young(er)! 🙂

Very shiny. It would ahve taken a lot to have gotten me to scrub up so well when I was that age! Happy weekend!
Perfect! Shinyness abounds!
Thanks for sharing this special moment. Jason looks wonderful in his tux. His shiny car was perfect for the occasion. Thanks for visiting earlier.

Great photo! I remember back to my high school banquets and dances! So exciting!
A wonderful time of life for everything to be shiny and happy. Great for our theme. Have a wonderful weekend!
A shining example :-). Reminds me to shine my car up a bit with wax. Feeling jealous of his shiny car. Hehe.
What a sweet photo!
Get the feeling that someone sure loves his car… ;b
That’s a wonderful picture and he’ll remember it always. He was shiny for sure. Have a wonderful weekend.
Handsome!!
Great take on the theme. 🙂
How excited he looks! I love the way teenagers wash and shine their cars… for a month or two and then it becomes a place you take your life in your hands to enter. I imagine the boys are better at keeping cars shiny than girls are…. or as my Nyssa would say… “it’s a guy thing.”
That’s such a fun shot for this week’s theme.
Oh what a great memory. It brings back my own memories too of those days. He is a handsome guy.
Hi Barbara! It’s good to be back…. Jason did a good job shining up that car, I’m sure he arrived at the banquet in style. He was looking pretty spiffy too, hope he had a great time. Great choice for this week’s theme! Happy Hunting and great to see you photohunt again 🙂
good photo and great memory to have for shiny!
