Forgive me for not being wordless this Wednesday, but I felt a little explanation was in order or people would wonder why this picture was here. 🙂
When I pulled up in the driveway a couple of weeks ago, I saw this vine peeking around the corner of the house:
It just struck me funny. It’s a morning glory vine that had been taking over objects in its path along the back of the house, and when it started to turn the corner, it seemed like it was looking for more objects to consume. A few days ago my husband did cut it back and freed the shovel and rake from its tendrils. But it might be back, ever seeking….don’t stand still too long near it. 🙂
More actually Wordless Wednesdays can be found at 5 Minutes for Mom and the Wordless Wednesday hub.

It sounds like our ivy although it hasn’t yet trapped us! Happy WW
Those things are evasive!
Thanks for stopping by my WW
Wordless Wednesday – Point Park
These plants are good when a few months old but give it a year, these will grow too fast and would be hard to untangle. Nice photo, 🙂
I have been trying to find you. I have forgotten that you had moved and then you moved again. We have a vine of some sort that I do not know what it is. It has blue flowers that look like bells. I was weeding and thought it may be a wild flower plant. Take care of yourself and family. Looks like Peanut is having fun!
That’s cute! Looks like it’s peeking around to see in the house! 🙂
That’s a frightening thought, that your plants are lurking, just waiting to entrap you.
I think it’s ok to add some words to Wordless Wednesday now and then! Great pic, Barbara. 🙂
It does look like an arm coming around the corner with your house in its grasp!
We have some of those–I actually let the weeds go in my flower bed so that they had something to cling to. 🙂
Ha! My dad cursed morning glory up one side and down the other.
Hugs,
Holly
Creepy! LOL You never know what those sneaky vines will do 🙂
Do ya feel like it’s comin to get ya! 🙂
Creepy creeping vine, huh? We have ivy that would eat us alive if we aren’t careful.
It seems to think the siding is tasty!
I’m pretty sure I read that Stephen King book about the morning glory vine!! LOL
I’m afraid I can’t refrain from saying SOMETHING each Wednesday. Being wordless is beyond my power. 🙂
