I thought I’d show a few more things in my kitchen, this time relating to bears. I used to collect a lot of bear-related things, but nowadays I have narrowed it down to Boyd’s Bear figurines. But these are a few non-Boyd’s bears that I love.
I found this cute little bench as is at a thrift store for $3.

Ohhhhh I know what ya mean! I used to have sooooooooo many bears it was crazy! Even now my powder room is still decorated all in bear — but that’s fixin’ to change to lighthouses as soon as the kitchen is done! lol! You have a LOT of blue around your house! Most of the blue I have is in the shade of navy! My livingroom is all red white and blue… of course, NOW there’s always my kitchen ceiling! 🙂 Anyway… I ramble so much… your bears were the perfect addition to Blue Monday!

I like that last piece, of course! And the first one reminds me of a door hanger I have that says: Teddy Bear Collector, Orphans Welcome. I bought it in Pennsylvania when I went back to visit after we moved to Tennessee.
I had a JC Penney Country catalog recently. It is the one I ordered my display shelf out of. It is good until January so I’m hanging onto it. I plan to order from it again. There is a Boyd figerine of a Bear pair in a canoe that I just have to have to commemorate Honey Bear and my canoe trips. I may drop some hints his way. Christmas is definitely on the way.
