Randomness

I caught a cold a few days ago and felt really bleah Saturday. Better now. Some.

Dontcha hate it when you blow your nose and gunk comes out of your eye?

Why doesn’t someone invent a self-cleaning refrigerator?

My husband was away this weekend. We’re used to his coming and going through the week, but weekends seem a little forlorn without him.

Our church is having a missions conference this week — great stuff so far.

One of the missionaries is the patriarch of this family, and I am loving their CDs!!

On to bed — to sleep, perchance to breathe.

Actually breathing isn’t so much a problem — drippiness is — but I just liked the way that sounded. πŸ™‚

  1. I’m sorry your feeling so crummy. Out of your eye? Wow, sounds like you had to blow your nose really hard for that to happen! Hope you get to feeling better real soon.
    God bless,

  2. Im in pretty bad shape too! Had to go to the dr. today. I love the Stouffer music. Several of the songs on Come and Sing mininstered to my heart as I was preparing to leave for the field. Deep Waters and the Gentle Shepherd are probably my favorites.

  3. Oooooo I hope you feel better soon! I gotta tell ya – I don’t believe I have ever had goop come out of my EYE when I blow my nose… that would scare me! You get some rest…

  4. I’m surprised at how many people haven’t had the eye thing going on when blowing one’s nose. It is a common thing for me.

Ann, we have the family I linked to above, the Stouffers, and Dr. Roy Ackerle is our keynote speaker — a missionary with BIMI to Cuba for many years, and at 85 still does Spanish radio broadcasts and correspondence courses as well as preaching in various places. We also have Mike Abbot and Mike Foster, neither of whom have spoken yet and they are new to us, so I don’t know much about their ministries yet.

  5. Barbara, I do hope your cold gets better! And I totally agree with you about the refrigerator. Cleaning out the refrigerator has to be my worst household chore…I guess that’s why I always put it off too long!

  6. wow…that was some randomness up there, Barbara…and that is just fine. I’m sorry to hear that you are feeling so poorly. Our son, Daniel, has bronchitis…big time. Coughing up gunk and all. I’ve been trying to stay clear of him as I’m having surgery tomorrow. I’m praying for you, dear one. ((HUGS))
