His Word to instruct, guide, encourage us
Family near and far
Friends old and new
The fellowship of believers
Food, shelter, safety, necessities of life
“Extra” blessings of books, music, chocolate, the Internet, senses, useful occupations and enjoyable diversions
More blessings than we can count…
Though we are to give thanks every day in all things, it’s nice to have a special time of emphasis to remind us of it and revive thankfulness in our lives.
I hope you have a wonderful day with loved ones and good food and a time of pondering and thanking God for all He has provided.

Yes, so much to praise God for. Thank you for the links to other things, as well. I really loved the Bible study–all of those verses together. And, I laughed at some of the funnies. The redneck Thanksgiving was more redneck than anyone I know . . . and I’m from a definitely redneck state myself. :o) I did think the Cool Whip salad bowl set was a winner. :o) Lots of fun! Thanks for sharing both the blessings and the fun.
Yes, I agree — we are thankful as we go along, but so nice to have a day devoted to thanksgiving so that we should not forget!
