Just a few good reads to share today:
Read Your Bible to Fight Unbelief, HT to Challies. “We stop reading it when, in our unbelief, we start living as if we were autonomous and knew well how to do this thing called life without any direction from the Holy Spirit.”
Why Paul’s Messy Churches Give Us Hope.
Walking Saints Home, HT to Challies, on “the calling to walk with men and women to the end of their earthly lives.”
Why You Shouldn’t Stop Blogging (or Why You Should Consider Starting)
And, finally, this was floating around Facebook a while back. It always cracks me up:
Happy Saturday!
Barbara, thanks for the link to the blogging post. I needed to read that encouragement today. The links from that post to other articles were super helpful as l continue to figure out what blogging might look like for me in the days ahead …
The blogging article *was* interesting and encouraging! Also enjoyed the one about ministering to the elderly. Lately I’ve realized how much of my life is revolving around people a few decades older than me. I have to wonder if God is leading me into these relationships, and pray for the wisdom to be His encouragement to these ladies.
