I’ve used this picture once before for a Wordless Wednesday, but it was the first one I thought of for today’s theme because it fit so well.
My son and a friend had been playing with a bouncy ball in the living room (ahem!!) The ball didn’t hit Papa Bear, but it fell on the floor under the shelf. When my son’s friend retrieved it, he somehow accidentally ran into Papa Bear, and the bear’s leg broke off.
You might be able to see other scars of the poor bear family. Something about hanging their legs over the side like that causes them to get accidentally bumped into and knocked off, even though I have put them into a corner where there is no traffic — except for retrieving stray bouncy balls and dusting. Some time ago my husband ago my husband attached them to the shelf (with sticky tac, I think), so they don’t fall off any more. But they do still get bumped into.
How do you bear it? Heehee! Sorry, I couldn’t resist!
Looks like poor Papa Bear needs a splint for his busted leg!
I am sorry that Papa Bear got his leg broken. But this gave you a good picture for this week’s theme.
Blessings on your weekend…
Oh dear… how do you fix it?
Gorilla Glue! Best invention! Will fix papa bear right up!
Poor papa bear…..needs some doctoring!!
Happy Saturday!
Poor bears ! You should fix him a wooden leg, lol !
Oh no!!! Poor papa bear.
Happy Saturday!
Poor Papa Bear…. I saw the white but that must be tacky tape? You could glue him back together and fashion a white cast around that leg. Perhaps that would make him feel a little bit better.
Oh, that is such a shame. The Bear family is just precious! Hope you are able or were able to glue it back together with little or no harm. π
Oh those poor little thing. Great post.
Thanks for the visit.
Oh, poor little Papa bear! π
Ball? In the living room? They now know that that is a ‘no-no’ for sure.
Mine’s posted
Awww poor papa bear! Hope he gets to the bear hospital soon and gets glued right up. Loved the story.
Have a good weekend and I’m up too.
Broken things have so many memories attached to them then non-broken things. I think they become more valuable!
Poor Papa Bear! We have a Christmas decoration that hangs like that. Luckily it’s plastic because it gets knocked off at least twice a day. Great take on the “broken” theme.
oh no, poor Papa Bear! Doesn’t look too bad though, nothing a little crazy glue won’t fix π Happy Saturday!
You gotta fix Papa Bear’s leg! Love your header! Thanks for stopping by My Photo Blog!!
I can relate to poor Papa Bear! I tore my meniscus and so we could actually be twins! LOL
Poor Papa Bear! Better keep the glue handy.
Poor Papa Bear! But see how he keeps on a happy face for his family. π
Poor Papa Bear! At least his spirits don’t seem to be broken π
I remember this from before. It’s so cute!

My first photos for the hunt are up.
Poor papa bear. The are cute. Happy weekend.
My mom collects bears too. Poor bear.
Crazy glue works wonders. My husband has repaired so many of my broken things with it. π
Bad things always happen to the cutest animals! I just dropped a clock today and broke the tail off of the dolphin pendulum….and even worse was the fact that it happened AFTER I’d posted my photo for the week!
Nice photo for the theme!
Have a nice weekend!
I will Exercise for Comments!
