This is my favorite sweater, and it is in great condition except for the edge of the sleeves.
I don’t knit or crochet — but I think a couple of ladies in our church do one or the other. Is this something that someone who knits or crochets would know how to fix? Or is it a lost cause?
If the loose ends of the yarn were longer, yes, it could be repaired. I’d ask your friends at church – I’ll bet I could fix it if I had it in my hands.
Hi Barbara,
sorry I know nothing about knitting or crocheting so I can’t offer any help there but thankyou for dropping by my blog and leaving a comment, you’re welcome back anytime
Cheers,
Shish
I know nothing about knitting so I can’t help you. If it is a favorite sweater, it would be worth checking with someone. I had an e-mail from you recently, but accidentally deleted it after I read it so couldn’t reply. 😦 Have you decided on a fabric for your curtains yet? I am working on the favorite things meme. Hope to have it up in a few days. Your brave with the book one. I wouldn’t tackle that! 🙂
I’d pick up the stitches where the cuff ends (not the raggetty part but the other end) and restitch the entire cuff. Then do the same on the other sleeve.
