The Power Of Words
A careless word may kindle strife;
A cruel word may wreck a life.
A bitter word may hate instill;
A brutal word may smite and kill.
A gracious word may smooth the way;
A joyous word may light the day.
A timely word may lessen stress;
A loving word may heal and bless.

Hi, Barb! This is a nice post for a weekend. Meditative. I wrote about something very similar to this for my next post on Internet Cafe for CWO. I hope you can read it. I think I”m on April 2 or 3. Words are so much more powerful than we ever, ever, know.
I try to remember this all day as I teach 2nd graders.
I really like this poem, Barbara.
