Hope plaque

The verse on this plaque is Romans 12:12: “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing steadfastly in prayer.”

I’m glad my hope is in the Lord.

My hope is in the Lord Who gave Himself for me,
And paid the price of all my sin at Calvary.

Refrain:
For me He died, For me He lives,
And everlasting life and light He freely gives.

No merit of my own His anger to suppress.
My only hope is found in Jesus’ righteousness.

And now for me He stands Before the Father’s throne.
He shows His wounded hands and names me as His own.

His grace has planned it all, β€˜Tis mine but to believe,
And recognize His work of love and Christ receive.

  2. What a glorious way to start the new year… with HOPE… amen!

Thanks for stopping by my blog Barbara… it’s always good to hear from you! Just to let you know… if we sell our place and downsize like we’re hoping to this year… I will be most likely be moving my studio into a bedroom or it might have to be two bedrooms!!! LOL I’ll keep you posted. I just have to remind myself, it’s not the size of the space it’s what you do with it and in it that counts!

And I love the idea of this scavenger hunt… I may have to check it out… oops… like I need another thing to do!

Blessings to you my friend for a glorious HOPE filled new year!

  3. The hope we have in Christ is such a different one from the faint hope that so many people have in money or people or occupation.
