I run to Christ when chased by fear
And find a refuge sure.
“Believe in me,” His voice I hear;
His words and wounds secure.

I run to Christ when torn by grief
And find abundant peace.

Thus joy and sorrow meet.

Some of you comment that you’re unfamiliar with the hymns I post. That will be especially true this time because it is a relatively new hymn! I am not sure when it was written, but I just became aware of it when Chris posted a mention of it on his blog a few days ago, and it spoke to my heart.
