I thought this would be an excellent exercise to stimulate creativity while at the same time learning to streamline our words. Normally I am not very concise, so this is something I need to work on.

“Did I turn off the oven?”
“I’m sure you did, dear.”
“I wonder if I unplugged the iron.”
“I’m sure you did, dear.”
